Amber-Dawn
Amber-Dawn has a way of making you smile when she looks at you! She has Autism, developmental delays, and seizures, but you wouldn't know it when she smiles! She is so precious and loved so much!
Some of her favorite things:
Elmo, Sesame Street, The Muppets, Music, Singing, Dancing, Hula-Hoop, Hokey-Pokey, School and Playing Outside in the Yard!
A Week at Seattle Children's Hospital
We had quite a scare this past summer when Amber-Dawn got sick and couldn't tell us what was hurting. After two trips to the ER and a visit at the Doctor's office, she was rushed to Seattle Children's Hospital to have her apendix out. It had ruptured by this time, so she had to recover for a week in the Hospital.
There is so many caring nurses, doctors and staff at Seattle Children's Hospital - they made sure that Amber's 10th Birthday during this week was memorable as could be. Tess, Josh & Jasmine returned home this week from their Road Trip and came up for a visit on her birthday. The picture shows how happy she was to see Tess - and open her gifts, including this Flintstones tee-shirt from Custer, South Dakota.
Very Inquisitive!

A Special Treat ~ Dick's Drive-In

When we go to Seattle Children's Hospital for appointments we also make a stop for French Fries and Chcolate Shakes at Dick's Drive-In. After Refreshing Treat, we stop by to see Tess at her UW Dorm.
