Camping - Ft. Stevens, Oregon

Mother - Daughter

We camped at Fort Stevens, Oregon. It took us a couple hours to pitch the tent, but it was nice when we finally figured it out! The first night we made time for smores and hot chocolate over the open fire - Yum! Breakfast of instant oatmeal was filling the next day for our adventurous day of sight-seeing and senior photos. Our second morning breakfast was much better - bacon, scrambled eggs with cheddar cheese and donuts. We packed up the tent and car and headed home - stopping by the jetty and one more time at the beach. The sun came out and the blue sky made a great backdrop for more senior photos!

Cannon Beach, Oregon

Haystack Rock

Cannon BeachCannon Beach, Oregon was amazing! Impressive Haystack Rock looms over the beach, where the sand was pink and soft.

The quaint little sea town had so many tourists. We tried to capture some pictures with a semi-formal dress - flowing yellow and white - the wind picked up though.

Onalaska, WA

The pace is slower in this quiet little country town. It's not too hard to find us. We are located halfway between Seattle, Washington and Portland, Oregon - off the I-5 corridor. East Lewis County is just a little ways past Bear Canyon (hwy 508) or Mayfield Lake (hwy 12). On a clear day Mt. St. Helens looms her awesome sight over our little town. Mt. Rainier is beautiful in the backdrop of many landscape pictures here. On your travels east towards the towns of Morton, Packwood and White Pass, you will be able to see Mt. Adams nestled behind Mt. St. Helens. Read more.
