Hello From Washington State
July 8, 2009 : Slide show collection of my photos I uploaded to my Picasa Web Albums.
Postcards from Jasmine have been arriving every few days while she's on her vacation road trip. It's the best mail! She's had a summer cold on her trip, and the hot weather has been more than she's used to, but she's having so much fun!
Cousin Megan Visits
June 4, 2009 : It was a nice visit with cousin Megan. She enjoyed the backyard, barefeet, just like Tess & Jasmine. Smiles and Giggles Picture.

My Family Tree
A bit of my own family history (PARNELL, SHAFFER) with photos (thanks to my mom's hard work). This part of the family is connected to the small logging town I reside in. Featuring the beginnings of a Post Office in TILDON, 1882.
I have begun tracing my husband's family genealogy: JORDAN, GALVIN, WILDER, KILDOW. More on this side soon.
Onalaska Cookbook & History, 1975
Nestled along the Lewis and Clark Trail, we are half-way between Seattle, WA and Portland, OR. At one time Onalaska had the largest logging mill in the state. The smokestack towers above the quiet little town, watching over the mill pond, where you catch a nice trout for dinner.
Onalaska Rememberances and Recipes, 1975 edition (The full cookbook is uploaded as a PDF file - link on the recipe page and the menu to the right).
Majestic Mt. Rainier
The mountain was out a couple days ago - Mt. Rainier, that is. I live within views of Mt. Saint Helens and Mt. Adams too. Here's a picture of the countryside from Onalaska, WA, with Mt. Rainier in the background. We just had a sprinkle of snow that day - within a couple days we had nearly a foot of snow!
In case your wondering - I captured the image at the top of my web page of this fall of the Tilton River. -- Teresa, 2008
